Good ridddance 2009. Welcome 2010.

2009 was rough for me. Family upheaval, economic upheaval, such a crucible! Through it all, I managed to make progress. Miracles came. Affirmations of the rightness of my path made themselves known. Allies appeared. Healing opportunities presented themselves. Magnificent mistakes were made, and some learning occurred. Not everything was resolved, nor healed, nor made right.

I survived. In some ways, I even thrived. I met the New Year with a feeling of desperate relief in being able to bid 2009 adieu. Goodbye, release, forgive, farewell, let go, -breathe-.

And so it is.

This I say to 2010: Hail and welcome! Be of god cheer. Three times in a row I tried to type “good cheer” but after that many repetitions of such an apt “misspelled” sentiment, left it for the touch of the Divine that it obviously is. This in itself is, to me, a small, delightful sign that the game is afoot!

2010 is the Year of the Tiger. All blessings abound as the Tiger leaps forward into this year. As a Chinese astrology Horse, I found this last Ox year ploddingly slow and ponderously dangerous. As a natural astrological ally of the Tiger, this Horse looks forward to cantering instead of feeling stymied, and kicking up my heels with energy and jubilation!

My plate is full of last year’s details that have turned into this year’s important first steps. I’m seeking to piggyback on the energy of the times into a more “Capricornian” relationship with my material world in these retrograde winter days.

Play smarter -not- work harder, make good use of every resource at my disposal, live in goodwill, lavish self care. As always, but reminded anew.

Live on Purpose, dear readers, nothing else will do. Let us call each other forth into greatness for the Highest Good. The Universe is a glorious playground.

Happy New Year! So mote it be! Amen, Hallelujah, Right On, Shalom, Salaam, Namaste, Blessed Be!
